Nivel Beginner - Advanced
Tweens will explore the exciting world of theatre, learning foundational skills that will boost their confidence on and off the stage. Through interactive activities and games, performers will explore improvisation, character development, and voice control. They’ll also gain experience in storytelling, script work, and using body language to bring characters to life. By the end of the program, participants will have strengthened their ability to collaborate, communicate, and think creatively. Each session encourages self-expression in a safe, judgment-free zone, helping tweens discover their unique voice as performers and embrace their creativity with confidence! Week 1 (October 10th): Intro Theatre Games Week 2 (October 17th): Voice and Diction Week 3 (October 24th): Character Development Week 4 (October 31st): Improvisation Skills

With over twenty years of experience in teaching theatre and musical theatre, I am passionate about making performing arts accessible, engaging, and fun for all students. I specialize in working with children and teens, especially homeschoolers, by offering both online and in-person classes that inspire creativity and build confidence. My background as a triple performer has given me a deep understanding of the transformative power of theatre, which I bring into every class.
I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment where young learners feel encouraged to explore, take risks, and express themselves freely. My programs focus on essential skills such as character development, voice and body work, and improvisation, helping students build a solid foundation in drama while enhancing their communication and teamwork abilities.
