In "Trumpet Foundations," learners will delve into fundamental trumpet techniques essential for both beginners and intermediate players. Topics covered include embouchure development, breath control, note articulation, and musical interpretation. The class is structured with a balanced mix of interactive lectures, guided practice sessions, and engaging discussions to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

Drawing from my experience as a Marching Band Program Consultant and Brass Staff/Brass Caption Head at Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps and Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps, I bring a proven approach to teaching. Inspired by my background in coordinating show designs and training staff, I prioritize clear instructional standards and relatable learning experiences. The class will feature a blend of instructional lectures, interactive games, video clips, and discussions to cater to various learning styles and provide ample opportunities for learner interaction and engagement.

Lessons will be 50 minutes in length and will meet once a week.  Based on need, the Teacher will attempt to make schedule consistent from week to week. 

Required materials will be assigned after learners enroll and complete a "players survey." 
Supplemental Materials will be assigned on an "as needed" basis.  These materials will be differentiated based on skill level.
