En este campamento de baile hip hop para principiantes de 4 días con temática de Trolls, los estudiantes aprenderán algunos movimientos de baile hip hop divertidos y jugarán juegos de baile con la música de la banda sonora de la película Trolls. ¡Prepárate para moverte, sacudirte y bailar hip hop!

Experiencia de clase

This fun Trolls themed hip hop dance party camp introduces basic beginner hip hop dance movements and combinations.  Each class begins with a short warm-up then students learn choreography to the song "Move Your Feet" from the Trolls movie soundtrack.  At the end of class 4, students will "perform" the routine that they have learned as the Trolls Dance Team!  Students will also learn stretches to work on flexibility and coordination skills. 

Class Format: Introduction and greetings.  Warm-up. Learn choreography of the hip hop dance routine. We will also play a fun dance game during class. 

Please make sure to have an open area to move in without any obstacles in the way. Students are welcome to have a water bottle near by.  
Attire can be shorts, a t-shirt or anything they can move comfortably in. They can go barefoot, wear socks or sneakers.

Metas de aprendizaje

The goal of the class is to introduce students to basic movements of Hip Hop dance.  It is fun, upbeat, and great exercise!

It is important to have somewhat of an open space to move and jump around.  No shoes are needed, they can go barefoot or wear socks (sneakers can be worn if they would like).  Attire can be shorts and a t-shirt or anything that they can comfortably move around in.

I have been a dance instructor for over 18 years in all styles of dance.  One of my favorite styles is Hip Hop because it is so energetic and keeps the students engaged.  My Hip Hop choreography has been performed at Houston Rockets basketball games, Globetrotter games, and at many dance competitions and events.  I am so excited to share my love of dance to so many students!
