This is a fun, interactive three day course for all levels. Only one day is actually dyeing the fabrics. Day 1 is preparation. This will mostly be folding the clothes and adding rubber bands. Students will learn traditional Shibori origami techniques, as well as contemporary tie dye techniques. Day 2 is the actual dyeing. Students will need to do this outside or in a bathtub to minimize mess. It helps if they have a container and gloves. They will store items in a plastic bag and leave overnight. For homework, the next day they should rinse all the dye out of the fabrics. They should wash these items on cold. No other items should be in the washer because they might get stained. They can use a dryer or hang to dry. Day 3 is sharing. Everyone will share their designs and talk about what they will do differently next time. Can model and take photos or just show in the live stream.

They will learn about traditional Shibori folding techniques as well as contemporary ice dyeing techniques. They should be able to do this in the future and show all their friends.

Do not take class if allergic to Fabric Dye. Please use gloves and do outside. Wash all clothes separately the first time after dyeing.
