Taller de tres semanas: ¡Juegos de teatro, improvisación y estudio de escenas para actores!

In this class we will be exploring Theatre Games, Improv, and Working on a Scene with a Partner!
Have you ever dreamed of being on Broadway, performing at your school talent show, or just putting on a living room play for your family and friends?  Then this is the class for you!  

Each class we will be learning fun actors warm-ups, improv games and scene study skills techniques.  Students will have the opportunity to learn about new plays when assigned their scenes.  Students will learn through teacher guidance and interaction with fellow classmates.  

The goal of the class will be to perform the assigned scene by the end of the three weeks with confidence and strength. Students will also have gained knowledge of character study and subtext.

Class One: - Actors warm-up and Improv Games
                   - Pick partners and have a first read through of your scene

Class Two:  - Actors warm-up and Improv Games                   
                   - Character study breakdown
                   - Run through scenes - I will provide positive feedback and tips on moving forward with your scenes

Class Three: - Actors warm-up and Improv Games
                      - Learn about subtext and "acting the scene"
                      - Run through scenes using the feedback from the pervious class

Class Four:  - Actors warm-up and Improv Games
                     - Share what we came up with about our characters and subtext
                     - Run through scenes off book (no more scripts)

Class Five: - Actors warm-up and Improv Games
                  - Final run through and final notes from me and their peers
                   
Class Six:  - Actors warm-up and Improv Games 
                  - Live performance Day!!
