Travel back in time to 1162 when Temüjin Borjigin, later known as Genghis Khan, was born into a nomadic family. Despite his humble beginnings, he went on to conquer almost the entire continent of Asia and became a founding father of Mongolia. Using interactive slides, storytelling, discussion, and group activities, you will learn about the ruler of the largest empire in human history.

Genghis Khan often made brutal decisions during and after battles. During class, some of these decisions are mentioned very briefly to show this side of the ruler but all attempts are made to keep the discussion at an age-appropriate level.
