Este club social semanal reunirá a estudiantes que estudian en casa en un ambiente informal y divertido.

Each week learners will meet for 30 minutes of socialization and connection.

This is a student led, teacher guided format that allows learners to practice communication skills (taking turns, asking questions etc.)
Students will bring a snack or tea as well as a few things they'd like to chat about. 
There will be sheets available in the classroom for students to work on - word searches, colouring sheets, puzzles.

The goal of this class is to connect homeschooled learners from different areas and help them build and maintain meaningful connections with other learners their age.

I am an Ontario certified Teacher with 10 years of classroom experience in the public school setting, and over 20 years of experience in various childcare settings.

I am qualified to teach Science, Math, Language Arts and Social Studies - with an additional qualification, and specialization in Kindergarten. 

I believe in providing young learners with the opportunity to make connections between the material being taught and their own lived experiences.

I focus on Empathy and Emotional Intelligence in my lessons and provide well rounded classes (academic + creativity + social)

I am passionate about learner development -  and my own University experience which has a strong focus on social and academic development is evident in all of my classes.
