In this class, we will examine the beginning of the Women's Suffrage Movement in America. We will learn about the conventions organizers, who attended, what their goals were, and what the results were. We will talk about the Rochester Convention and how the women's movement grew from these two meetings. The first 20-30 minutes of the class will consist of a powerpoint presentation that will include some videos. The last 10-15 minutes of class will be an open discussion of what we have learned and answer any questions that the students may have.
