This 4-week class will be centered around the theme of snow! Who doesn't love SNOW?! Class uses a combination of slides with photographs, video, discussion, lecture and true and false games. I encourage participation. During week 2, we will spend the last part of class working on a creative project (please see supplies needed). I am a fun, responsive and enthusiastic teacher. Learners don't need to have any prior knowledge in order to take this class. I welcome all levels of knowledge and participation. 

Week 1: This week we are going to learn all about snowflakes and Wilson Bentley. 
Week 2: This week we are going to explore snowy landscapes around the world and make our own snowy scene. 
Week 3: This week is all about arctic animals and what they need to survive in cold temperatures. We will also learn about how to identify tracks in the snow.
Week 4: This week is all about snow fun. We will take a look at different types of activities humans do in the snow. From snow angels to alpine skiing, we will look at ways we use the snow to have fun.
