My name is Miss Grace (ISTD DDE), Principal of The Mini Dance Studio. In everyday life I teach many different genres of dance. Through Outschool, I am offering and introducing children to the world of Ballet.
I believe that Dance is a sport which supports the development of the human body; proprioception, fine and gross motor skills, grows dancers confidence, builds and improves relationships through watching and listening and supports dancers imagination.
Over the years, I have auditioned, trained and performed as part of the English Youth Ballet, and participated in English National Ballet workshops. I have gained professional development at prestigious dance schools, such as Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and ISTD extended teacher training. I have successfully completed and passed the ISTD Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) – specialising in Ballet and Modern Theatre. I also am a certified teacher of Progressing Ballet technique teacher (PBT) and Acrobatic Arts.
