Then please send me a final video explaining how you will see the world differently after you've completed all three mini lessons! I'd love to see examples of your own artwork as well.Calificación

Change the way you see the world! In this class we will expand our innate skills of visual perception to see the natural world with the eyes of an artist. Great artists, from El Greco to Renoir, J.M.W. Turner to Paul Cezanne, see the world differently, with an intense acuity. We will learn to do the same, exploring how perception can impact artistic creation and creativity. Studying different natural phenomena, students will have the opportunity to transform their own powers of observation and perception. What does the world look like from the window of a speeding car? What happens to your own garden when a fog descends? In the words of poet Paul Valery, “to see is to forget the name of the thing one sees.” No experience necessary, just the ability to look, deeply focus, think, and feel! You’ll never see the world the same way again. This class will change the way you see art and the way you create your own art!
Metas de aprendizaje
Learners will expand their critical thinking and observational skills to truly engage with the visual world and give them the confidence to appreciate art and create great art.
