Hola! Welcome to El club de Lectura. In this three week course, students will read The Magic Tree house in Spanish. During class, we will read a portion of the book and then discuss main points. Each student would then participate and share a passage or ask any questions they may have. During the end of class, we will do quick multiple choice questions for reading comprehension. Reading schedule and chapters that are to be read before class: Week 1 Chapters 1-3 Week 2 Chapters 4-6 Week 3 Chapters 7-10 Please note this class will be taught mainly in Spanish and it's not intended for beginners. This is perfect for students that attend a dual immersion school. You may find the book in Amazon titled Dinosaurios al atardecer (Casa del arbol) (Spanish Edition) *If your student is shy and does not wish to participate please let me know before class. My ultimate goal is for every child to feel comfortable. They have the option to just listen in.

Hello! My name is Miss Flores and I am so happy to be a part of Outschool. I’ve been working with kids for 10 years now and I love what I do. I received my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies in March 2018 and I plan on pursuing a master's. I believe kids learn best when they feel most welcomed, comfortable, and safe. In my classroom I will encourage students to ask questions, make comments and allow time for them to interact among themselves.
I will be teaching beginner Spanish and will be offering tutoring services. I grew up speaking Spanish so it's a language I feel very comfortable with. Not only will I be teaching Spanish, but I also want to familiarize the students with a bit of the Mexican culture. Mexico has such a rich, vibrant, and diverse culture that the teaching possibilities are just endless.
