My experience in teaching started when I was in high school as a math and ESL tutor. I majored in life sciences at Queen’s University in Ontario with a minor in psychology. I moved to North Carolina and practiced for 5 years as a chiropractor and acupuncturist before starting a family and embarking on a second career as a university instructor. I have been teaching anatomy & physiology and medical terminology for over 15 years.
Note: Classes on the reproductive system will focus on terms related to anatomy, rather than topics on sexuality, gender issues and sexual health. All material presented is factual and science-based.
