Calling all Harry Potter fans! 🧙 Join us for an exciting journey through Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! In this book club, we'll meet twice a week to dive into the adventures of Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts. Each session focuses on one chapter, giving us the chance to discuss our favorite moments and explore the deeper themes and character dynamics. ________________________________________________________________ COURSE DETAILS Format: 19 Weeks, 1 Lesson Per Week, 2 Chapters Per Lesson Discussion Focus: Memorable scenes, character evolution, themes, plot developments, emotional impact, and narrative perspective. ________________________________________________________________ Optional Course Activities: Learners will receive the following creative and engaging projects throughout the course: 🪄Design your own Triwizard Tournament Task -> Create your own task for the Triwizard Tournament, complete with challenges and magical creatures. This project encourages imaginative thinking and a deeper understanding of the book's events. 🪄Build a Magical Object -> Choose a magical object from the book (like a wand, Portkey, or the Goblet of Fire itself) and create a physical or digital model. Learners will write a description of its powers and significance in the story. 🪄Design Your Own Wizarding World Newspaper -> Learners will create a front page for a wizarding newspaper, featuring headlines and articles about key events in The Goblet of Fire. This helps develop skills in summarizing and interpreting key plot points. 🪄Character Analysis Poster -> Pick a favorite character from the book and create a poster that highlights their journey, personality traits, and key moments in the story. This project focuses on character development and analysis. 🪄Write a Letter to a Character -> Learners will write a letter to a character of their choice, offering advice or discussing events from the book. This encourages empathy and a deeper connection with the characters. 🪄Create a Spellbook Page ->Design a page for a spellbook, including a spell from the series or an original one, with detailed descriptions of how it works and when it should be used. These projects are designed to be both fun and educational, encouraging creativity while reinforcing key concepts and themes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. ____________________________________________________________ Book Synopsis: In his fourth year at Hogwarts, Harry Potter is unexpectedly chosen as a competitor in the dangerous Triwizard Tournament. With daunting tasks, new alliances, and dark forces at work, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is filled with action, mystery, and pivotal moments that change the course of the wizarding world forever. House Cup Competition: Students will have the chance to complete optional weekly assignments and earn house points. The house with the most points by the end of the course will win the coveted House Cup, complete with a printable certificate. ------------------------------------------------------------- Join Anytime: Feel free to join a section that has already begun! You'll still be eligible to win the House Cup and receive your certificate for completing the book.
