I have had training in teaching ELA and reading, and focus on ensuring that students are reading beyond just what is written on the page. I specialize in creating engagement and helping to foster a love of reading. My master's degree focused on teaching reading skills to older struggling readers, and I found that the strategies I utilized supported all learners.
