¡El mejor tutor para ti! (Sesión de 1 hora)

Las sesiones de tutoría de Best Tutor 4 You se crearon para ayudar a los estudiantes desde jardín de infantes hasta quinto grado en lectura, comprensión lectora, escritura y/o matemáticas. Durante la tutoría, puedo evaluar a su hijo, trabajar en áreas de crecimiento y/o trabajar en los objetivos del IEP.

Informal progress is assessed each class. After each class, parents will receive a short report of what we practiced, how well your child did and the skills we will work on next class.

During private tutoring sessions, I will help students in Kindergarten-5th grade practice and grow in reading fluency, reading comprehension, phonics, writing sentences and/ or paragraphs or essays, spelling, and/or math.   

Prior to our first meeting please provide me with details as to concerns, skills/goals you would like us to work on, and any data you have available about your learner's current abilities. If your child has an I.E.P, I can also focus on the I.E.P goals. If you do not send the skills you want your child to work on, we can discuss it during the first class or I can assess your child to see the skills to focus on.  

I strongly believe that we can work together as a team. I can offer guidance to parents/guardians on how to support progress between tutoring if requested.   

I am a veteran teacher with my Masters degree in Education with a focus in Special Education.  I create close bonds with my students and encourage them to always do their best.

Hello I am Mrs. Keyuanna Evans. I am the teacher your child will never forget! 
I have a patient teaching approach and strongly believe in verbal praise, positive correction and having fun while learning. I hope to build students' confidence and inspire them to learn. As a teacher, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child engage and having that "Light bulb" moment when they understand something.
I graduated from Virginia State University with a Masters in Education with a focus in Special Education. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Recreation and Physical Education. I have been teaching elementary school for over 17 years. I have taught students in general education and students in Special Education. I have taught in both private and charter school settings.
In my everyday life, I am a wife and mother of one sweet 11 year old girl. I enjoy watching movies and spending time with my family.
