Este curso de 8 semanas aborda los aspectos básicos de la creación de una idea de negocio y la planificación de cada paso para ejecutar un plan de negocios adecuado. Los participantes adquirirán experiencia práctica en la creación de una empresa que funcione.

The entire course is based on the final project: the creation and presentation of the business plan. Each session adds input and content for the learners to add to their project, completing the final output over the course of the 8 weeks. At the end of every week, one portion of the Business Plan will be due, which will be returned in time for the Monday session.Calificación
Projects will be graded on a scale from 1-4, with 4 reflecting Exemplary quality and feasibility. Plans that are executable with the potential for improvement will be given a 3, while a 2 will be given to plans with promising products or services but need to refine processes or other aspects. A score of 1 reflects projects that will have difficulty producing adequate results and a return on investment.Experiencia de clase

Every session lasts one hour, covering different business disciplines that help learners conceptualize and plan out their ideas and giving learners time to develop their ideas with mentoring. The class revolves around developing the most effective business plan to execute a business idea, covering the development process to the presentation function of business planning. Using interactive lessons, the instructor will give learners a hands-on experience to apply the lesson to their project outputs. Each stage is conducted with guidance and mentorship from the instructor to help each learner maximize their time in class. With access to reinforcement activities outside of class to encourage mastery of the information, learners will be engaged and prepared for upcoming lessons.

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
CLO 1: Understand and explain the basic concepts, principles, processes, and implementation of a
business plan;
CLO 2: Understand and explain the concepts of entrepreneurship and the importance of the study;
CLO 3: Craft and develop creative, and well-thought-out business ideas for entrepreneurship and make sound
business decisions; and
CLO 4: Apply entrepreneurship and business communication principles through the development and crafting
of a business presentation.

The instructor graduated with a degree in Management Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2010. He continued the business he and his partners proposed for the Senior Business Project, which continued operations until 2014. After working in the financial industry as an Account Manager for a local bank, he taught Business Subjects such as Applied Economics, Entrepreneurship, Business Ethics, Principles of Marketing, Organizational Management, and Introductory Finance. During his tenure, he guided student groups to compete in several business proposal competitions and established the Investment Group student organization.
