Salud, felicidad y empoderamiento de los adolescentes

The teaching style during the class will be discussion, and presentation based.  Learners will interact with the instructor and each other throughout the whole class time.  

Topics will include: 
Nutrition  - The basics of nutrition. How to eat well when busy and on the go.  
Movement  -  The importance of movement.  Ways to move while at home, at school, and outdoors. 
Mental Health -  What is good mental health?  Techniques to deal with stress and anxiety.  
Emotional Health - What are my feelings?  How do I express my feelings?  How do I work with my feelings so I don't get overwhelmed? 
Relationships - Types of relationships - romantic, friendship, family.  What do healthy relationships look like?  How do I nurture healthy relationships?  
Making Good Decisions  - How do I gather reliable information so I can make good decisions?  How can I get practice making decisions?  
Learning/ Education - Different education options - what else is out there.  How do I take charge of my learning?  Is college the only path?  

Learners can expect to come away with practical techniques to empower themselves to take charge of heir health and happiness. 

There is no required experience or knowledge just a desire to learn and share.
