The students will listen to an alphabet story written by the teacher about things that people eat and do at a modern Thanksgiving dinner. The learners will say the letters of the alphabet and talk about what foods they like and don't like.  Each student will take turns talking about what they like to eat. If there is time the students will review the story and practice reading the words. The students will review all of the letters at the end of class and think about words that start with the letters. The students do not need any prior knowledge to enjoy this class. 

Here are some of the vocabulary words that we will learn: apple pie, bread, cranberry, dinner, eat, family, grateful, harvest, invite,  leaves, meal, November, occasion, pumpkin pie, quality time, rolls, sweet potato, turkey, unify, vegetables, wishbone, extra, yams, and zucchini.
