Students will be a part of a story time about the adventures of a small unicorn named Glitter.  Every student will want to bring a slime of their choice to the class.  At different parts in our adventure, we will interact with the slime to help tell that part of the story.  Also, each student can color their very own unicorn.  This will be their unicorn in our adventure.  As the story is told, we will spend time recalling the steps in our adventure, sharing our ideas, and discussing the saying “Sparkle wherever you go”.  I hope you will join me to hear about Glitter's unicorn adventures in Super Slimy Stories #1.

Hello. I am Aimee Burks and I am very excited to be a part of Outschool. I have a bachelors degree in education from Stephen F. Austin St. University in Texas. My passion is teaching and I have experienced 12 years as a middle school classroom teacher.  Also, I teach online ESL classess to students from age 4-12.  I love spending time with my family and friends, having adventures, and traveling. I love sharing my joy, kindness, and energy with the people around me. I want each of my students to have a memorable learning experience. My favorite part of teaching is sharing my interests in a creative way with students.  I am a bubbly teacher who gets most excited about mythology, Harry Potter,  and creative writing projects.
