In this class we will take a closer look at the human body’s senses. Our body’s have five fantastic senses; sight, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touch. In this course your child will have a better understanding of senses and get to explore their senses with experiments in your house!

Each week the camp will focus on a different sense. We will have lots of fun as we play while we learn with games, songs, and dances!

Your child will have the opportunity to go on a senses scavenger hunt and each student will have the chance to talk about their findings. My classes are very interactive and I believe in giving your child freedom to speak with their fellow students. This gives your child the freedom to socialize and feel part of the group. I always give out personalized rewards to every student who completes my class.  I look forward to seeing you child in the classroom!

Your child will learn all about their different senses. Each week we will focus on a new sense and at the end of the six weeks we will review and have a senses party!

Week one: Touch

Week two: Hear

Week three: Taste

Week four: Smell

Week five: Sight

Week six: Review

Your child will have the opportunity to bring a different object or objects to class to participate! I look forward to meeting your child!

Hello, friends, and welcome! My name is Teacher Ashley. Let me tell you a bit about me!

Teaching is my passion. I am fully qualified to teach English and early elementary school. I have been teaching for 8 years privately and online for 2 years. I have experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, complete beginners, and children of all ages. I started my teaching journey by teaching students in China, France, and Panama, how to speak English. With the rise of the pandemic, I moved my classes online and began teaching students my academic curriculum from preschool to third grade.

I love to motivate my students and make learning a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I always aim to make my classes comfortable and allow my students to express themselves and have more talk time to build confidence. I always come prepared with props and toys that relate to my student’s interests. You might say that I am Elsa and Spidermans biggest fans!

My lessons are always energetic, filled with engaging activities, and most importantly, my classes are beneficial to my students. I use various teaching strategies, props, flashcards, and fun games. All of my tools can be used for online learning or in person. I teach using TPR (Total Physical Response) and Communicative Approach to better conduct my student’s experience.

My mission is to make sure that all of your child’s learning needs will be met. I make this possible through the curriculum I designed, proper preparation, and interaction with my students.
