Welcome to kindergarten online! Each week includes: Video lessons, coordinated worksheets and team quizzes with Kahoot. 

WEEK 1: 4 telling time lessons, 4 money lessons, 1 short sight words and ABC phonics review. I will also share some of my favorite skip counting YouTube videos. 
WEEK 2: Sight words, rhyming, opposites, days of the week, months of the year and seasons.
WEEK 3: Sight words, planets, oceans and continents.
WEEK 4: Sight Words, Fractions, complex shapes, adding and subtracting.

Participation expectations:
There is a question at the end of each video. Learners have the opportunity to answer the question and/or participate in show-and-tell. 

Student Interaction Show-and-tell: Throughout each week, we will be posting our crafts, sharing videos, discussing our favorite parts of the week and sharing our toys. (All in the Outschool classroom)!

The flexible schedule allows your younger learners to watch the videos and do the crafts at a time that is FUN for them! You can also spend extra time on the topics your child is most interested in. Since this is a flex class with no live meetings, students can log in at a time that is convenient to them to complete the week's lesson. We will be going through each week as a group and I will post the lesson on Monday mornings (about 5 short videos per week for 5 weeks). In addition to the weekly lessons, I sometimes provide optional worksheets, crafts, STEM and STEAM projects. 

I do not screen share, instead I will use books, singing and many props to engage learners. Students should be prepared to watch the videos with paper and writing/coloring utensils.
