Hora del círculo de verano para prejardín de infantes: 2.ª semana: abecedario, fonética, números, matemáticas, mostrar y contar

Welcome to our Pre-K class! I am so happy that you may be joining us soon! 

*Class Times - 2 Days per week, Tuesdays & Thursdays.
 I also offer a 3 day/week as well if you are interested in that option*  

In this ongoing class, we will start our day with a hello song and then begin with calendar time. During our calendar time we will sing the days of the week song and determine the day and month of the year. Once we have completed this activity we will move on to our question of the day. Each student will be able to participate and share their answers with the class. Some questions may be "How do you feel today?" "What color do you like the most/least?". After our question of the day we will move on to discuss one letter, number, color and shape. We will sing songs and play music during our calendar time to make it even more fun and engaging! We will practice these skills in every class, along with counting, phonics, feelings/wellness and more that will help prepare them for their future in school. All skills that students are practicing are found in the Pre-K guidelines. This is what I will be using as I lesson plan for each week. After we have completed calendar time we will move on to our mini lesson that will prepare children for Kindergarten. This mini lesson will change each class but some examples that we will practice are phonics, writing, early reading skills, rhyming, math and more. Once we have completed this mini lesson we will sing our goodbye song. 

*Every Thursday, we will have show and tell at the end of class, yay! 

Each class will act as a stand alone class but will have the same schedule of events. We will always start the class with the hello song, followed by calendar time, a mini lesson and goodbye. Learners are able to come and go from this ongoing class. The previous week will not have anything to do with the current week. 

Pre-K is so important and it prepares children for the rest of their life in school. This ongoing class will help your child do just that. I am a certified teacher and have taught Pre-K for three years at a private school in Texas, USA. This is my favorite grade to teach, I love it! I can't wait to see you in my classroom soon. :)
