SUMMARY: Available to learners entering Algebra 1/Algebra 2, this 4-week mini camp meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays to review/refine the skill of solving equations. Solving equations is a skill that will give learners success in their Mathematics and Science classes both at the high school and college level. I have a bachelor’s degree in Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and 3+ years of teaching experience in secondary Math Education.
Learners will need note-taking materials and a calculator.
PAYMENT OPTIONS: This class offers both Upfront payments and Weekly payments. The Upfront price is $120, which is $15 a lesson. The Weekly price is $37.50 a week, which is $18.75 a lesson (the current Outschool recommended rate for enrichment classes). REFUND POLICY: This class has a standard refund policy: "Refund within 24 hours of payment until your next meeting or lesson access begins." SCHEDULE: This class takes the week of July 4th off as a mid-class break. As a result, the class is scheduled for 5 calendar weeks. EMERGENCIES: Despite our best efforts, emergencies do happen and can result in changes to the class schedule. I always plan to have my classes as they are scheduled. In the event that I have an emergency (loss of power/internet), I ask that learners log into the Zoom meeting and remain in the meeting for 10 minutes so that Outschool can mark their attendance. There is a one-week gap between my classes for the purpose of adding make-up sessions during the same time. In the event that your learner cannot attend a class, please reach out so I can plan accordingly. Recordings of the meetings will be shared with the classroom. Learners are expected to watch the video lessons for the classes they miss.
