** I do my best to engage all learners in the class regardless of their abilities, however I understand some students can be a little more shy in a one-time class. Please encourage  your learner to participate. The more participation a student has in class, the better he or she will understand the concepts being taught. 

My love of writing started when I was 8 years old and hasn't stopped. 

I'm a published author (fiction and nonfiction,) writing teacher, homeschooler, and tutor who's worked with gifted and struggling kids for over 20 years. I saw a gap and a need when it came to writing because children didn't have a basic knowledge of parts or speech, sentence structure, or paragraph writing. I developed a program with fun techniques to engage them to write powerful and sometimes silly sentences. The techniques seemed to work with kids who loved writing as well as those who didn't. I'm excited to bring my program online to an even bigger audience.

Detalles: * Assessments will be done in class through class participation and sentence writing. Parents will be notified if student needs more help in a certain area, but it is up to the parent work with the child outside of class. 
* It is parent's responsibility to follow up with any questions and concerns. 
* A more formal assessment is available on request only. 
* Consultations for next class recommendations are available by request.
