Children will enjoy hearing entertaining stories that are engaging and fun to listen to. We will discuss the books and what happens in the story so that the kids will be able to have a chance to interact with the teacher and other students. Then, we will play games that will help to practice and learn, letter sounds, sight words, numbers, and school readiness skills. Kids will take turns talking and sharing so that everyone present can get a chance to interact. New stories will be read in each class so feel free to come back for another class! It's great for preschoolers and homeschoolers if you are homeschooling 👉 Some funny books that we may read: Okay, Andy by Maxwell Eaton III Unicorn and Horse by David W. Hello Everyone! My name is Lena Pittman and I have been a teacher for over 14 years. I love to teach in a fun and exciting way by using music, games, and other props to get the children very involved. There are many subjects and ages that I have taught but my main focus has been teaching 5-year-olds how to read and to learn their math facts. I have been teaching ESL to all ages for over 2 years and I really enjoy teaching this subject, also. Creating new and exciting ways to help young learners to enjoy learning is something that I have a passion for.
I am a graduate of Howard University and I received a Bachelor of Science degree. I have raised 3 boys and homeschooled them for 5 years. They are all bigger than me now and love to play football!
