Hey There, I'm Coach Dez!  Why that name you ask?  Well, I believe that teachers are responsible for providing students with information and growth/learning opportunities.  Well, I believe that a coach is someone who motivates, inspires, teaches and guides through the process of experiencing that thing.....a sport.....a band.....a group of musicians, etc!  

I have an impeccable ability to form, shape, guide and make MUSICIANS.....!  The level of expertise is always determined by the PRACTICE HABITS OF THE INDIVIDUAL!  I've watched quite a few musicians soak up the knowledge and formally apply what was given.  Then I witnessed their entry into the Professional World of Music & often times their climb to success and/or fame and stardom!

I often liken the music learning journey to the act or art of working out.  There are definitely different intensity levels, more sweat, varied lengths of time in the workout, etc, etc.  Right?  Well, all of that determines your outcome, just like it does with our bodies as we work out.  It depends on what sort of exercises we are doing, at what intensity level, rate and duration.  These elements all play a part in both of these practices...[all puns intended]!
