This lesson focuses on hands-on STEM activities with fun.

Month 1 (September): Shapes, Colors, and Creative Engineering

Week 1: Playdough Shape Creations
Theme: Geometry and Creative Design.
Materials: Playdough.
Activity: During the live session, students will roll, flatten, and mold playdough into different shapes (circles, squares, triangles) as guided by the teacher. They will combine shapes to create imaginative objects like animals or houses.
Objective: Introduce basic geometric shapes and foster creativity in combining shapes to form recognizable objects.

Week 2: Color Mixing with Food Coloring
Theme: Basic Color Theory and Chemistry.
Materials: Food coloring, water, clear cups or bowls, spoons.
Activity: The teacher will demonstrate mixing primary colors in water to create secondary colors. Students will follow along, predicting and observing the changes as they mix their colors.
Objective: Teach children about primary and secondary colors while encouraging curiosity and observation.

Week 3: Paper Craft Buildings
Theme: Engineering and Fine Motor Skills.
Materials: Colored paper, scissors, glue sticks.
Activity: Students will cut and fold paper to create simple 3D buildings (like houses or towers) as demonstrated by the teacher. They can decorate their buildings with markers or crayons.
Objective: Develop fine motor skills, explore basic engineering concepts, and express creativity through paper crafting.

Week 4: Block Building Challenges
Theme: Engineering and Problem-Solving.
Materials: Wooden blocks, LEGO, or any stackable items.
Activity: The teacher will present different challenges (e.g., building the tallest tower or a bridge) and students will build along at home, testing their creations during the session.
Objective: Encourage problem-solving, understanding of balance and stability, and hands-on engagement in building.

Month 2 (October): Exploring the World Through STEM

Week 1: Playdough Plant Life
Theme: Introduction to Botany.
Materials: Playdough, plastic knives.
Activity: Students will use playdough to create simple models of plants, including roots, stems, leaves, and flowers, following the teacher’s guidance.
Objective: Introduce the basic parts of plants and their functions through tactile modeling.

Week 2: Virtual Animal Tracks
Theme: Zoology and Patterns.
Materials: Playdough, toy animals or stamps.
Activity: Students will press toy animals or stamps into playdough to create tracks, learning about different animals and discussing their habitats.
Objective: Explore animal patterns and habitats while engaging in sensory play.

Week 3: Colorful Water Experiments
Theme: Physics and Observation.
Materials: Water, food coloring, paper towels.
Activity: The teacher will guide students through experiments where they dip paper towels into colored water and observe the colors spreading.
Objective: Teach about absorption and capillary action in a visually stimulating and interactive way.

Week 4: Paper Craft Weather

Materials: Paper, scissors, glue, crayons or markers.

Activity: Students will build a volcano out of playdough and simulate an eruption by adding baking soda and vinegar mixed with food coloring during the live session.

Week 2: Paper Bridges

Materials: Toilet paper rolls, paint, paper, glue.
Activity: Students will decorate paper rolls to create rockets, then simulate launching them by blowing through straws.
Objective: Inspire interest in space exploration while practicing crafting and engineering skills.

Week 3: Mixing Colors with Water
Theme: Chemistry and Observation.
Materials: Water, food coloring, clear containers.
Activity: The teacher will lead students in mixing different food coloring in water to observe the creation of new colors.

Week 4: Building with Blocks
