This class is a great opportunity to explore UV light, how it works, and turn it into art. Students will get the opportunity to explore hands-on as paints come alive under UV lighting. 
The class will begin with some background information about light energy. Afterward, we will make our own UV paint. After we completed our paint, we will have a Glow Party and show and share our art with each other. 

This class will only run with 4+ students, so tell your friends. Private bookings are also available upon request.

Kits are also available for purchase within the continental US. Kits must be purchased a week before the class to allow for shipping.

I'm Ms. Shiren! 

I am an International IB Teacher. Our family has worldschooled for over 8 years. Along my journey, I have created Colossal Academy, a farming micro-school. I enjoy watching the learning process for students age 9-14. Adolescence is such a delicate part of life when young people cement themselves into who they will become. It is critical to have sensitive teachers that offer rigor as well as loving guidance.  
In the classroom,  I am engaged with students and build a connection through the screen. Through the interdisciplinary approach, students engage in materials, ask big questions, develop speaking, and collaboration strategies. 

I am fluent in Portuguese (European Continential), Spanish and my native tongue is English.
