Experiencia de clase

Learners will be involved in interactive hands on activities where they understand the concept of the "Design Process" behind S.T.E.A.M. and entrepreneurship. They will have the opportunity to experience and apply how bringing S.T.E.A.M. and entrepreneurship together prepares them for our innovative future. There will be create activities mixed in with discussion, games, slides and video clips. 

Students will leave this class with an in depth understanding that being prepared to grow in our innovative future is a a combination of their passion, skills, and understanding of what others need and value.

Students will learn the steps to the "Design Process" and have the opportunity to experience and apply it while being creative and thinking critically about our world of innovation.

Thank you for joining me in following what I’ve been instilling and teaching to my young students for years! I am proud to be a model for my students now as a teacher, educator of entrepreneurship (edtrenpenueur), entrepreneur, and business owner.

 I, am an innovative, enthusiastic, and expert elementary edtrenpenueur, who has followed my passion and drive to make my dream a reality by customizing an online, entrepreneurial, educational program for elementary students to empower them to follow their passion! I am proud to offer an entrepreneurial, customized, project based, educational program for students in grades K-5 grade.

This program is created to teach enrichment, as well as, all subjects across the curriculum through entrepreneurship, including: math, technology, science, engineering, reading, writing and speech. It is fun, project based, collaborative, and creative. It is designed to be accessible, empowering, and motivating to all students, and to meet the current needs of today’s youth to grow into future leaders. 

Since I love teaching math, I will not only be teaching classes incorporating math skills into financial literacy ,and banking I will also be offering classes in K-5 math.

I believe in teaching the whole child! I incorporate social and emotional learning, as well as, giving students the tools and support they each need to be successful and confident in all that they do.

Since I have taught and prepared students for 7 years in 4th grade math to perform their best on the math FSA with the skills and confidence needed to succeed, I will be offering 4th Grade Math FSA preparation classes as well here on Outschool.  

Professionally, I have spent 16 years teaching elementary education in various settings to diverse groups of students. In addition, I have seven years experience, successfully teaching elementary students using an exciting, project based, rigorous, entrepreneurial, leadership, and S.T.E.A.M. based program. 

I have earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Miami. I also have my Professional Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education and in Exceptional Student Education. Furthermore, I am Gifted and ESOL Endorsed.  

In my free time you will find me at the beach reading a book, or spending quality time with my family and friends.
