In this 1-day Spring Break Science Course, students will be learning about density and why it is important to understand. Students will learn about density and the science behind it through a combination of lecture, class discussion, google slide show, video clips, and other visuals. We will then apply what we learn to creating our own density tower. Once we've created the tower, we will compare each substance and discuss it's properties so we can draw conclusions about why it is more or less dense than other substances. Students are welcome to participate in this class whether or not they have access to all of the lab materials. They can follow along and conduct the experiment at a later time.
