Welcome to Mrs. D's Art Room where it is always a good day when you are learning something new.

Kids always want to add some fun stuff to their drawings, but they don't realize what they can learn through that. So, I specially designed this project to have some fun while learning. They will learn acrylic painting skills!

We will learn how to draw a jumping dolphin, and water splashes and learn to paint clouds. In this project, we will learn to draw a dolphin playing with a ball using easy steps. We will learn unique techniques using acrylic paints to paint water splashes and 3D white clouds.

We will talk all about sea creatures, learn fun facts, ask questions, and be creative with the drawing.

Students will be encouraged to socialize and share their artwork, although it is not required. Students will also be encouraged to make their artwork unique and complete their art independently if they are not finished in class.
I pace our class based on the student’s abilities, so we will go slower or faster depending on how they are doing.

No experience is needed for this class; learners will follow directions.

Hello and Welcome Outschoolars! I’m Mrs.D. !  I appreciate you considering me to be a part of your young artist's art journey! 

I teach various art classes that involve color theories, color wheels, and color schemes that work together to create human figures, landscaping, and canvas painting with easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions. I love to teach different styles and techniques of art using Art Theory.

I am an artist by profession. I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. I have participated in many art exhibitions in my public art center and library and taught art, crafts, and card making in elementary schools and Girl Scouts as a volunteer. I love to share art with my community.

I have been teaching 1:1 art classes online and in person for the last 5 years to ages 4 to 14 years.  I have instructed children online all around the world, and continue to teach local classes and workshops in my community. I am so happy to continue what I am doing on a bigger and better platform from the comfort of my home.

I like to teach Art Theory in most of my projects so kids will learn multiple things without even realizing it. I believe all students can learn, and art is the best way to express yourself and your feelings in your unique way. 

Art helps to improve hand and eye coordination. It also helps to grow your concentration and patience. Sometimes young minds can't express themselves through talking, but through drawing. I love connecting with students through art and helping them grow, laugh, and have some fun! 

Class Expectation: Everyone works at different speeds. If the child is not finished with the piece by the end of class, they can finish the remaining picture at home and post it in the classroom.
