After 31 years of teaching, I recently retired, and my sports conversations with students during recess and breaks were always what they looked forward to discussing the most. In my sports class, we'll explore a wide range of topics, including stats, nutrition, motivation, and much more. I’ve devoted my life to sports—playing, coaching, collecting baseball and football cards, and living a healthy lifestyle. I can’t wait to dive into these topics! **Let’s explore your favorite sports team and dive into the thrilling world of statistics! **We'll examine the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle to enhance sports performance. Are you getting enough sleep, eating nutritious foods, and staying active? **Another vital aspect of sports is motivation. I have a ton of motivational quotes and clips that we can analyze together. **I've coached basketball at every level, from young kids to high school. Let’s explore how we can enhance your game! There are many topics to cover, including proper mechanics, a positive mindset, and other ways to contribute to your team's success. We can customize this class to fit your child's interests.
