Welcome Minecraft Gingerbread House decorators!

📣Calling all Minecraft builders! Put on your Holiday hardhats and take on our Gingerbread House decorating challenge! Try not to nibble a piece of the houses!

🏡Each student will choose a blank gingerbread house canvas to decorate however they like both inside and out! We have a model home available to spark your inspiration. At the end of class, everyone will get to tour the Gingerbread Village. 

🤗Everyone is welcome in this class even if they are slightly outside of the recommended age range. If you have specific questions about if this is a good class for your learner, please reach out and let us help. 

🏆Our goal is to help your learner create the Minecraft house of their wintery dreams! All of our teachers are excellent Minecraft gamers and are excited to share their knowledge with their students.

🥳Smaller class sizes guarantee quality attention given to each individual! It is so important to us that your child feels seen and heard in their social club, so we don't have huge classes. We want a close, tight-knit community of friends, not a giant lecture hall of students.

🎮 Play on any console you want! This game is cross-platform compatible, and learners can connect from their PC, Play Station, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch. Regardless of the device your learner or their friends own, they’ll be able to play the game together.

❔ Minecraft FAQ
What is Java edition and what is Bedrock edition?
- Java edition can only be played on a PC. Bedrock edition is cross-platform (can be played on PC, Switch, Xbox). If you aren't sure which edition your student is playing on, send us a message and we will help you out.

How does my student get a Minecraft account?
- Students just need to have a Microsoft account to login on Minecraft. It is a quick and free to setup. 

Are the servers private for these classes?
- Yes, all of our servers are private. That means that only students who are enrolled in the class will be able to access the world where we are playing. There will be no strangers or online chat in our Minecraft worlds.

What is a gamer tag and how do I know if my student has one?
- A gamer tag is the name students give themselves in Minecraft. If your student has a Microsoft account, they have a gamer tag. They must share this gamer tag to gain access to the private server. 

⚠️ Parental Guidance 
- Students need to share their friend codes with teacher or other students to participate in this class. Their in-game name (gamer tag) will be visible during play but will not be accessible after class is over. 
- Game is Rated E10+ for Fantasy Violence 
- No third-party resources will be used.  
- Students will use their own copy of the game and their own online account.
