Experiencia de clase

This class will include a series of dance work outs and stretches that will tone/strengthen the body as well as increase flexibility. This class will include modern dance work outs that focus on toning and strengthening. The first 15 minutes will be warm ups and the last 45 minutes will alternate between dance and gym workouts. Exercises will change or have challenges add for each section. There will be modified movements for those who may not be on the same level as others. I will make sure you know what you are doing as well as watch to make sure you are doing things properly. NO experience required. There will be more interaction from me making sure you are working properly.

For Privacy: If students do not fill comfortable with their videos on during class they are welcome to turn them off once they have understood the stretches and exercises properly and a parent or guardian is there to make sure they are doing everything properly.

For younger students, Parental Guidance is recommended. Possible Injuries may include Pulled Muscles or Rolled Ankles if students are not properly supported or paying attention.

Yoga Matt or Towel (If flooring is not carpeted)
Water Bottle
Jazz  Shoes/Tennis Shoes (If flooring is not carpeted)
Open Workout Space
*All workouts can be done with or without shoes since most dance classes are barefoot but you are welcome to wear shoes or non-slip socks during classes.*

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
I have been teaching Dance Conditioning classes for grade school and university level classes since I was 18 years old. I have been training in dance since the age of 10. I took my first dance condition class at the age of 12. I was a dance minor and teacher's assistant at Virginia State University for all 4 years. I also studied dance in the masters program at University of Maryland Baltimore County.
