This 7 times a week class will cover advanced Spanish grammar and vocabulary, with a focus on speaking and comprehension skills. Topics covered will include advanced verb tenses, subjunctive mood, advanced sentence structures, idiomatic expressions, and more. In addition, cultural immersion will be integrated into the curriculum to expose students to various Spanish-speaking cultures.

What topics will you cover?
Each week, the class will focus on a specific topic related to advanced Spanish grammar and vocabulary, such as the subjunctive mood, conditional tense, prepositions, and more. In addition, each week will also include cultural immersion activities, such as discussing traditional foods, customs, and traditions of Spanish-speaking countries.

Some other examples are:
Advanced Verb Tenses (subjunctive, conditional, future perfect)
Advanced Pronoun Usage (double object pronouns, reflexive pronouns, relative pronouns)
Advanced Vocabulary and Idioms (academic language, slang, idiomatic expressions)
Advanced Conversation Practice (debates, discussions, presentations)

How is your class structured?
This 7 times a week class will consist of 30-minute sessions. Each session will include a presentation and discussion of new concepts, and interactive exercises to reinforce learning. Cultural immersion activities will be integrated into each session to provide a more comprehensive learning experience.

How will you teach? What's your teaching style?
The teaching style for this class is interactive and engaging, with a focus on speaking and comprehension skills. Students will have ample opportunity to practice speaking and listening to Spanish through group discussions, role-playing exercises, and interactive games. The teacher will use a variety of teaching methods, including audio and visual aids, to facilitate learning.

How much will learners get to interact with you and each other (mention specifics like: lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)?
Learners will have plenty of opportunities to interact with the teacher and each other during this class. Each session will include interactive exercises that encourage group discussions, role-playing exercises, and interactive games to reinforce learning. In addition, cultural immersion activities will be integrated into each session, providing students with a more comprehensive learning experience.

Any required experience or knowledge learners need?
This class is designed for advanced Spanish speaking children, so learners should have a solid foundation in the Spanish language, including basic grammar and vocabulary. Students should be able to converse comfortably in Spanish and understand spoken Spanish at an intermediate to advanced level.

This is a learner-led Spanish class. This means that I will select a topic that I believe will benefit most students enrolled in the course, considering their age and level of Spanish proficiency. Together, we will explore this topic and work collaboratively to enhance our Spanish language skills. So, come prepared to engage and learn in a dynamic and interactive classroom environment!


This class is ESL Friendly. Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. (CEFR: all levels) Class is appropriate for CEFR: A1, A2, B1, B2 C1, C2.
