Taller de composición de canciones 4 - Para adolescentes

This course is a continuation from Songwriting Workshop 3. In this class students will continue to learn fundamentals of Melody Writing, Harmony, Rhythm, Chord Progressions. These aspects are studied within a variety of styles of music. Students will continue to have the opportunity to craft their own songs each week based on a certain framework that is given. The class meets 2 times a week. The first class each week introduces the songwriting framework of the song the student will compose for the next class, as well as touch base and answer any questions anyone might have regarding the song presentations for the next meeting time.

At the second class each week, each student will have the opportunity (not required) to perform their song for the group. The group will offer critiques on how to enhance their song or performance. What worked, what didn't work --- what could have been better.

Students will be encouraged to utilize their strengths within styles they are familiar with; however push their envelope into other avenues that may expand on what they are already doing.

These classes are fun and entertaining for everyone, while students learn the craft of songwriting and gain experience performing.
