In this one-time class, learners will have the opportunity to showcase what makes them unique! This is an at-home scavenger hunt where the teacher will ask a question, and the students will run and find the answer. For example, the teacher may ask, “Find something that starts with the letter of your first name,” or “Show me something that makes you happy!”

Learners will have the opportunity to show the teacher and their peers the items of their choosing. This activity will strengthen public speaking skills, listening skills, social skills and quick thinking. This type of class will boost the learner's confidence with their peers. 

In these different times we are living in, it is now more important than ever for children to practice socializing with their peers. Students will practice presenting their items to the audience and engage in discussion with others. I can’t wait to see what you have to show us!

Hello families! My name is Natalie, and I am a licensed teacher with my Master's Degree in elementary grades K-5 and middle school English. I have been a teacher for 10 years, and I've focused on teaching ESL online for the past four years. 

I live on a farm with my husband Darren, who works in law enforcement, and our two children, Sophie who is 8 and Levi who is 5. We mainly raise sheep on our farm, but we also have rabbits, donkeys, goats and chickens! Depending on the time of year, you may see me teaching classes about baby chicks, baby rabbits, or lambs, with surprise appearances from each animal!

In the classroom, you will find that I am laid-back and easy going. I like to meet the children where they are in their learning, even if that means veering off from my original plan for the day based on student need. Flexibility is important in teaching, and I want to give my students and their families a thoughtful and inspired experience! 

I will be offering a variety of topics for classes. You may find pre-kindergarten skills, public speaking, social clubs or farm lessons! Please reach out if there is something your child is interested in learning about!
