Our focus is on historical accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and fostering an inclusive dialogue. We strive to create a supportive atmosphere where diverse perspectives are valued, and students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts. Emphasizing critical thinking, we provide context and preparation, acknowledging the potential emotional impact of these subjects. By incorporating diverse voices and promoting respectful engagement, we aim to create a space where students can learn and discuss these historical topics with understanding and empathy.

Thank you for learning more about how Achieve Learning Partners can help your child 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗔 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥!

Statistics consistently show that 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗦 𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 for students, with research indicating that children who read regularly tend to perform better academically, develop stronger cognitive skills, and have a higher chance of success in school; studies often highlight the importance of early literacy development, with a significant drop in reading proficiency occurring if a child isn't reading at grade level by the end of third grade, potentially impacting their future academic trajectory.

At Achieve Learning Partners our programs are 𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘, allowing plenty of opportunities for 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡. In addition, our curriculum is aligned with the Common Core State Standards to ensure students are learning exactly what they need.

And practice doesn’t stop in class, we know that 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦. Therefore, students will receive additional weekly practice after each class.
Our 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 motto is important because it emphasizes the value of consistent effort and growth over time. Unlike the notion of perfection, progress focuses on steady improvement, helping students build their skills at their own pace.

Here’s why it matters:
𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Regular practice helps students see measurable improvement, boosting their self-esteem and encouraging them to tackle more challenging tasks.
𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: Repetition reinforces learning, solidifying comprehension, and critical thinking skills necessary for academic success.
𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁: It teaches children that effort leads to improvement, fostering resilience and a love for learning.
𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀: Progress through practice mirrors real-world experiences, where persistence and hard work lead to mastery.
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱: By focusing on progress, students learn to celebrate their achievements and stay motivated in their learning journey.

Lastly, our programs aren’t just about the student. The parent-teacher partnership is important to us, keeping you informed every step of the way through ongoing communication. Together, we will help your child 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗚𝗢𝗔𝗟𝗦!

At Achieve Learning Partners, we aren’t just teachers, we are your LEARNING PARTNERS! This is why once our families start with us, they stay with us.

                                                                    𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦

𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟~ Hi, I am the owner of Achieve Learning Partners, LLC. I hold a BS from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from the University of Louisville. I hold an internationally recognized TESOL certification and have taught ESL to children ages 3-16.

I love teaching and I love learning. I have been in the field of education for 30 years. In those 30+ years, I have taught, substituted, and owned a Sylvan Learning Center.

As a teacher, I have taught all academic subjects for elementary-age students and study skills to middle school, high school, and college students. I put my heart and soul into my students and classes. I work hard to meet students right where they are and scaffold my teaching to test student retention and base knowledge.

I love to make learning fun and engaging while also encouraging students to use their critical thinking skills. As a mother and teacher, I know it takes a village - teacher, parent, and student and I want to be part of your village.

More about me - I am a mother of two boys. I lived on the East Coast in Jacksonville, Florida for over 30 years. However, in the summer of 2020, my husband and I became empty nesters and took off on a new adventure as his job relocated us to Colorado. We are an active family that loves exploring the outdoors and all that comes with it from the animals to the topography.

I am a lifelong learner and an avid reader but have fallen in love with audio books that I can listen to ALL the time. Therefore, you will often find me hiking and listening to a book at the same time (enjoying two of my favorite things at one time).

I hope to see you in class soon. ~ Paige

                                            ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am an energetic teacher who works hard to build the skills and confidence a student needs to be successful. I also like to get to know my students. I know that building that relationship and trust is important for a student’s academic success. Communication is also very important to me.  Clear and prompt communication is my promise, If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to drop me a message.
On a more personal note, I have been happily married for 15 years. As a homeschooling mom of three wonderful kids, I've got a full house that includes two furry feline friends and an energetic pup. I reside in the Sunshine State of Florida.
I can't wait to see you in my classroom! ~ Courtney
𝗥𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗚𝗘 - For over 22 years, I've passionately dedicated myself to teaching, focusing on reading and math for grades K-5. 𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗟𝗘𝗬 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗘𝗥 - As a former public school teacher in Ohio, I have earned a bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education: Math, Language Arts, & K-12 Reading and a master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction: Gifted & Talented Education. Over the past 10 years as an educator in both public school and virtual learning settings, I have tutored 4th through 9th Grade Math, Reading, and Writing, and I have also taught 6th and 8th Grade Math to all levels of learners, Algebra I to enriched/gifted students, and K-12 English Language Arts and Reading to international students.
As a member of the Achieve Learning Partners teaching team, I currently teach a variety of reading comprehension and fluency classes to 1st through 5th-grade learners. Additionally, I offer a variety of personalized math tutoring opportunities for middle school students through my own Outschool platform. Feel free to explore my other classes here - https://outschool.com/teachers/Ashley-Harper-2023
While teaching and tutoring, I find the greatest joy in helping students master skills they previously found challenging by providing plenty of practice, encouragement from me, and making connections to what they are learning. I love providing my students with multiple opportunities to interact with new skills while also encouraging them to select learning strategies that work best for them and connect most to them along the way. An important part of learning anything new is a positive mindset and willingness to give your very best effort as you explore and practice - I am here to help!
My continuous goal will always be to help students grow their confidence, self-awareness, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills from class to class, learn from mistakes, stretch their thinking, and learn something new!
Although much of my time is spent teaching and tutoring, outside of the classroom I love spending time with my family - my husband, our sweet baby girl, and our spunky dog - as well as enjoying family hikes, curling up with a good book, practicing yoga, and baking new recipes for my family to try!
I can't wait to meet YOU and get to know you more as an individual and a learner!
See you in class! ~ Ashley
My teaching style is very student-centered. I enjoy creating a class environment where students
not only feel a sense of belonging but also know that their unique perspectives and contributions
to learning are valued by myself and their peers. I make an effort to incorporate project-based
learning where I can, and allow students choice. I like to encourage students through their
frustrations as I firmly believe self-confidence and creative problem-solving skills are developed
through facing challenges, taking chances, making mistakes, and learning through them.
