If your student loves to sing, this is the class for them!  In this fun and face-paced class, students will sing along with Mrs. Butcher as she shares her favorite choral warm ups and vocal techniques.  With over 17+ years of experience as a choral teacher, Mrs. Butcher knows how to have fun while inviting her students to sing their best!

After a brief teacher introduction, students will be asked to share what they love about singing. Then, Mrs. Butcher will guide the class through a series of her student's favorite vocal warm ups. Vocal warm up will include a brief discussion of how to stand/sit while singing.  Mrs. Butcher will demonstrate proper posture and breathing for singing.  Next, Mrs. Butcher will play several fun, upbeat songs on the piano while students sing along. Many songs will include movement to get students up and dancing!   Students will mute themselves as they sing along with Mrs. Butcher. 

Throughout the class, we will pause to discuss the correct body position for singing, breathing techniques, proper diction/vowel shape and more.  This class will be focused on singing, movement and fun!
