If you took Sight Word Superheroes with me, you have been introduced to the first 100 words.  Let's continue practicing these sight words by making and reading sentences and games!!  You don't need to take the first class to join in!  Come join us each week!  Join in any time!  You may come dressed in your favorite superhero costume if you want or bring your favorite superhero toy!  In this ongoing class you will learn some of the most used Fry sight words with Mrs. Tori (5 words at a time) plus games, superhero exercise breaks and activity worksheets/crafts!    You are a sight word superhero! In each class, we will read the 5 words together, make and read some sentences that contain the those words, and play games and activities using these words .  We will then take a short brain break to stand up and do some superhero exercise!  We will end the class with a fun show and tell so have your favorite toy or book nearby.  Did you know:  Fry's list of the first 100 words make up 50% of the most frequently used words in print children will read.  
During class, we will read loud and clear and actively participate so we can see the superheroes make an appearance!

Week 2(Week of December 8)-in, is, you, that, it-practiced in sentences and Roll and Write activities. 
Week 3(Week of December 15)-he, was, for, on, are-practiced in sentences and Word Search activities
Week 4(Week of December 22)-as, with, his, they, I-practiced in Mystery picture coloring activity.
Within our sentences and activities, the words covered in this class are: the, of, and, a, to, in, is, you, that, it, he, was, for, on, are, as, with, his, they, I, at, be, this, have, from, or, one, had, by, words, but, not, what, all, were, we, when, your, can, said, there, use, an, each, which, she, do, how, their, if, will, up, other, about, out, many, then, them, these, so, some, her, would, make, like, him, into, time, has, look, two, more, write, go, see, number, no, way, could, people, my, than, first, water, been, called, who, am, its, now, find, long, down, day, did, get, come, made, may and part.
