Do you have a favorite toy? A favorite stuffed animal? Or maybe a favorite book! What ever it may be, bring it to class with you and share it with some new friends! In this class, learners will be able to share and talk about a toy they brought with the rest of the class!  Learners will also be able to play and have some time to wiggle around.

At this young age I believe kids learn best through play so that will be the main focus. We will learn public speaking, communication skills, taking turns and more! Please join me for some fun and to meet some new friends!

The daily schedule is as follows: 
1) Introductions and talk about fun/good things
2) Learners take turns sharing the item they brought and ask questions about other learners toys
3) Have fun and play!

*There is no set schedule or theme for this class from week to week. Each week will be completely learner led for topics.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente

I have my bachelors degree in special education plus additional course work for art and TESOL (teaching English as a second language). I have been working with children for more than 20 years including as a certified teacher and a homeschool mom.  I have worked with a wide variety of age groups and and taught a variety of subjects including severe-profound special education preschool, honors high school and everything in between. But my specialties are drawing, brick building classes, elementary literacy, special education and baking. I even own small bakery!

My husband and I have three children. We enjoy camping, hiking, going to the park and playing board games as a family. My personal hobbies include baking, reading, painting, drawing and crocheting.
