This semester long math class is ideal for children who have  finished Singapore Primary Mathematics 2A, or an equivalent level/ program. 

Class sessions are live, interactive webinars, in which the children will be introduced to a topic and then have follow-up activities to do during the week. I use a variety of on-screen manipulatives and encourage children to bring their own math manipulatives with them to class. The children also have the opportunity to solve on screen problems using their annotate tools.

Students and parents should be willing to engage in a variety of multi-sensory activities to support learning math concepts, in addition to class time. Each week will include several pages of home time learning, outside of class session time. 

The class will meet three times per week for 30-minute sessions (longer during summer intensives) and will utilize Singapore Math 2B (US Edition).  Families are responsible for purchasing the required materials as students will have regular assignments, in addition to active, sensory-immersion activities that are developmentally appropriate for 8 - 12-year-old children, depending on their math abilities. It provides a great review for those who need to review.
