NOTE:  This novel is intense and mature on several occasions.  The following subjects will be approached with maturity and an educational perspective.  

SEXUAL CONTENT
• Several sexual references
• The main character thinks about and talks about sex
• The main character hires a prostitute, however, no sexual activity ever takes place.  He simply talks to her
• The main character witnesses an engaged couple engaged in foreplay in which a man starts dressing up in a woman's clothes

VIOLENCE
• Teen boys are often violent
• The main character is punched several times
• The main character reflects on another student at his boarding school who committed suicide by jumping out of a window
• The main character hears a story about someone who attempted suicide by taking aspirin

• Women are objectified and stereotyped by the main character
