They will be given a factfile page to print off which will gradually build up into an encyclopaedia of knowledge. There is also an optional extra activity that can be completed at home to consolidate their learning. Welcome to our Science: Extreme Earth Camp, an exciting journey into the wildest and most powerful forces of nature! Get ready to explore the thrilling and sometimes dangerous events that shape our planet. Over 5 days, this course will take you on a whirlwind tour through earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, hurricanes and floods. Each day, we will dive into a new extreme event, uncovering the science and geography behind it, the amazing photographs and the incredible power of our Earth. Let’s buckle up and embark on this amazing camp adventure together! Each lesson will cover many of the Science, Geography and Social Science objectives of the UK, USA and Australian curriculums so this course is an ideal way to keep learning going over the holidays or just for fun! Every day, learners will complete an activity in class and will receive an additional activity to complete in their own time to reinforce their learning. They will also be given a factfile on each topic which builds up into a mini encyclopaedia of knowledge. About us Learning With Love is a group of highly qualified and experienced UK teachers who share the goal of inspiring children to become lifelong learners, immersed in the wonders of the world and with a thirst for knowledge. Our lessons are great fun and leave the children wanting more! All of our teachers have BA degrees and Qualified Teacher Status, with many also holding Masters degrees. We ensure that our teachers have had at least 5 years experience of classroom teaching, with many having enjoyed more than 20 years in schools. All of our courses and resources are designed by a qualified educational curriculum manager who has many years of experience in developing curricula for prestigious educational establishments. Between us, we have worked in schools in the most deprived countries and areas through to those in the most affluent, experiencing a wealth of culture and great diversity. Every experience has taught us valuable lessons in how children best succeed.

Necesidades de aprendizaje
The class is taught by a teacher who is very experienced with children who have learning needs. We ensure that the lessons and worksheets are inclusive. We can also adapt learning materials for specific needs if required.
Lista de útiles escolares
All materials for each lesson will be posted in the classroom at least 24 hours in advance. Learners should print out the class worksheet and bring it to the lesson so that we can complete it together. They should also have a supply of basic stationary such as paper, pencils, crayons and glue.
