In this class, students will have a JOLLY time dancing to their favorite Christmas Songs!  We'll play Christmas games, learn real dance steps, and wiggle along to some FUN creative movement songs!  

We'll begin with a warm up and light stretching to get our bodies ready to move!  Then we'll dance and play along to some of my favorite Christmas action songs!  We'll play some fun movement games, and kids will get a chance to share what their favorite Christmas activity is.  Mine is leaving out milk and cookies for SANTA!  

PLUS, students will learn a cute holiday dance to "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" that they can perform for their friends and family all season long!  

This is a great class for young boys and girls alike who LOVE to move!  Perfect for kids with dance experience, and new dancers too.  Kids should wear comfortable clothing that they can move in.

Students will be participating in a physical fitness/movement activities though out the class. Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves. Therefore, please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper foot ware (choice of ballet shoes and/or socks). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle near by and to warm up before class to avoid injury. Parental supervision is strongly encouraged to help your dancer maintain their safety and spacial awareness.

Hi!  My name is Miss Emily, and I teach dance to kids of all ages.  

I began dancing at a young age, and my love of the art form carried through into a professional career.  I danced with companies such as Six Flags, and at the "Most Magical Place on Earth" - Disney World! 

Upon returning to my home state of Wisconsin, I opened a successful dance studio. There, I train dancers pre-professionally in ballet, tap, jazz, & lyrical.  In addition to teaching children, I train other instructors in safe, age-appropriate dance curriculum.  I believe every child should have access to quality dance instruction, and I love that Outschool expands that reach.  

On Outschool, I love teaching dance in a fun and engaging way to children ages 3-7.  I teach themed classes like my "Frozen Friends Ballet Dance Class", and an "Under the Sea Ballet Dance Party", as well as specific ballet classes!  I offer one-time, multi-day, ongoing, and flex classes in multiple different themes to suit every young learner!
