Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) basics
 Week 1
Lesson 1
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) basics 1
Student are given a practical exercise that uses Object Oriented Programming style. The example given is similar to the pre-work example that students complete before the first day of class.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) basics 2
Student are given a practical exercise that uses Object Oriented Programming style.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Encapsulation
Encapsulation is like putting things in a box or a capsule. In programming, it means bundling together the data (variables) and the functions (methods) that operate on the data into a single unit, called a class. This helps in organizing and managing the complexity of the code. Students are given a practical exercise to practice this concept.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Inheritance
In OOP, Inheritance allows one class (the child or derived class) to inherit the properties and behaviors (methods) of another class (the parent or base class). Students are given a practical exercise to practice this concept.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Mid Review
In this lesson, students practice creating classes that encapsulate data and methods, and explore how inheritance can be used to create more specialized classes based on existing ones. Students are given a practical exercise to practice this concept.
