Welcome to Roblox 4 Kids, a thrilling class designed for young learners in grades 2-4 who are fascinated by virtual worlds and 3D game design.

In this course, your child will have the chance to explore their creativity by building their own immersive game worlds using Roblox, a popular gaming platform where users can both play and create games. Over the course of five days, with each class lasting three hours, students will learn to design 3D adventures, races, and obstacle courses, and create their own Obbys.

At Roblox 4 Kids, we place a strong emphasis on student-centered learning, which means that your child will be encouraged to work collaboratively with their peers on creative projects that will engage them in the process of game design. Our course is structured around a mix of interactive activities, including lectures, games, slides, video clips, and discussions, to ensure that learners stay engaged and motivated throughout the class.

Our teaching style is highly interactive, with opportunities for learners to ask questions, share their ideas, and receive feedback from both the instructor and their peers. Throughout the course, students will be introduced to key game design principles, including how to develop immersive and interactive gaming environments, design and test games, and use the Roblox Studio as a game design tool. In addition, learners will have the chance to give and receive feedback on their work, which is an essential skill for any game designer.

We welcome learners of all experience levels, whether they are just starting out in the world of game design or have some prior knowledge. Our curriculum is carefully designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of game design, while still leaving room for creativity and exploration.

Day 1 students will dive into Roblox Studio and the various tools that make it work. Learn what types of genres you like the best. Day 2 students will Using Studio, try creating your own obby experience with challenges and hazards to make it fun not frustrating. Learn about what makes a game fun. Day 3 students will Using Roblox Studio, try creating your own open-world and add some gameplay or exploration elements for fun. Day 4 students will use Roblox Studio, to try creating a custom racetrack or arena to challenge your friends using what you learned. Day 5 students will Try testing out other campers' experiences and provide constructive feedback so everyone can polish their games.
