Experiencia de clase

Ready, Set, ESL English will introduce students to the English language and how English words are pronounced. Students will also learn sentence formation.

The class sessions may include topics as follows:
1. Letters and Numbers
2. Colors and Sight Words
3. Family and Sight Words
4. Home and Neighborhood
5. Adjectives and Pronouns
6. Past and Future Tense

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree. In addition, I have a TEFL certification and have taught ESL classes for several years to all ages of learners. I will utilize my prior ESL teaching experience by teaching classes in the categories listed. 

This class is structured with lectures and speaking opportunities where students may interact and provide input throughout each lesson, according to his or her comfort level. Throughout the class, I encourage students to communicate using complete sentences.

This is an introductory course, so no prior knowledge is necessary for enrollment!

I love to teach in an environment where learning is fun! My ultimate goal is for my students to smile and laugh while they learn. My teaching style is to correct with encouragement and to make timely pronunciation corrections. My name is Teacher Dana and I live in Indiana. I graduated from Ball State University. I have over five years of teaching experience in the K12 learning system. In that time, I have mastered how children learn proper grammar and phonics. I also have tutored children and volunteered for a lot of children's organizations. I have been married for many years and have two children who learned in a virtual environment. As their parent, I understand what you are looking for in a teacher and I am here to deliver.
