Reading Tutoring Group Kindergarten is perfect for the young reader who has learned most of the letters and sounds and are ready to move on to reading words and sentences. This course is perfect for a child in Preschool, Kindergarten, or First Grade who is ready to begin reading. 
This ongoing course will provide hands on instruction in reading and writing short vowel cvc words, phonemic awareness skills, and sight words. Learners will be engaged in interactive google slides, games, printouts, books, and songs. Learners will be taught to use their phonics knowledge to sound out and read words and sentences.  Decodable books are used in each class for instruction. 
This class is taught by a certified teacher with over 20 years experience teaching children to read.

Students will need a dry erase board, dry erase marker, and eraser. 

Prerequisite:
Students should know some letters and sounds. 

Although this class is labeled Kindergarten, the class is open to any student who is reading on a beginning Kindergarten level (beginning to blend and read words). Feel free to message the teacher to help determine which class level is perfect for your student.
